Migrants are increasingly building their lives in Europe, but are opportunities keeping pace?
The 10th edition of the Migration Observatory Annual Report published by the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) takes stock of how migrant integration in Europe has evolved over the past decade.
Drawing on the latest European Labour Force Survey data, the report reveals that more than one in eight EU residents is foreign‑born, rising to one in six in many Western European countries
While migrants’ employment and education outcomes have improved, integration gaps persist, shaped by changing migration patterns and diverse national experiences.
Join the lead author of the report, Tommaso Frattini, Professor of Economics at University of Milan and CEPR researcher, to hear the key findings and reflect on what they mean for Europe’s future.
His presentation will be followed by a discussion with Tanja Faller, Director of Technical Assessment and Monitoring at the Council of Europe Development Bank, and Clément Imbert, Professor of Economics at Sciences Po and CEPR Researcher.
